To work better in low temperature environments, the Mavic 2 Enterprise intelligent battery can automatically self-heat to a suitable light temperature. If the batteries temperature is between -10°C to 6°C and the batteries power level is above 50 percent in the battery can self-heat.

If the drone is powered off, the battery will stop-heating. If the batteries temperatures above 8°C, the battery will enter the retention state and the battery status indicator will blink clockwise. The battery can stay in the heat retention state for a maximum of 20 minutes. After 20 minutes or if the battery the conditions to stop self-heating, the battery will exit the retention state.
